Code of Conduct
Our Pledge
We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in the OperationsPAI community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Our Standards
Positive Behavior
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- Be Respectful: Treat all community members with respect and consideration
- Be Collaborative: Work together constructively, share knowledge openly
- Be Patient: Remember that everyone has different skill levels and learning speeds
- Be Constructive: Provide helpful feedback and accept criticism gracefully
- Be Inclusive: Welcome newcomers and help them get started
- Give Credit: Acknowledge others’ contributions and ideas
Unacceptable Behavior
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
- Offensive comments related to personal characteristics
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information without permission
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all OperationsPAI community spaces, including:
- GitHub repositories and discussions
- Community events and meetups
- Social media channels
- Email communications
It also applies when representing the community in public spaces.
Enforcement
Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by:
- Contacting the core team via email (to be established)
- Using GitHub’s reporting features
All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
Consequences
Community leaders will take appropriate action in response to violations:
- Warning: Private written warning with clarity about the violation
- Temporary Ban: Temporary suspension from community spaces
- Permanent Ban: Permanent removal from all community spaces
